KABUL (Pajhwok): Police have seized 2,000 bulletproof vests and arrested four individuals in limits of the 4th police district of Kabul.
Police spokesman Khalid Zadran said the ballistic vests, belonging to the government, were recovered by counter-terrorism officials during operations.
He said four people had been arrested in connection with the seizure of the bullet-resistant vests. The detainees are under investigation.
Recently, the government launched a major house-to-house search in the capital in order to improve security.
