KABUL (Pajhwok): European Union Ambassador to Afghanistan Von Brandt has welcomed the government’s decision on forming a commission for talks with Afghans in foreign countries about their return to the country.
On his Twitter handle, Brandt wrote: “Welcomed move, if true + part of a broader approach towards more legitimacy of a future government and inclusion of all segments of Afghan society.”
Earlier, the government announced the formation of the commission which will talk to renowned Afghan personalities in foreign countries and will encourage them to return home.
