ERW blast leaves 5 children killed in Helmand province

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Five children were killed and two others injured in a blast in the Marja district of southern Helmand province on Friday, an official said.

Helmand Information Department Director Mawlavi Mohammad Qasim Reyaz said the blast happened due to an Explosive Remnant of War (ERW) in the Camp locality this morning.

He said five children, including a girl, were killed in the incident. One boy and a girl were injured in the blast.
