KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have rescued a 17-year-old boy from kidnappers in northern Balkh province, an official said on Friday.
Balkh Information Director Mawlavi Zabihullah Noorani on his Twitter handle wrote: “Firdos was kidnapped from Kabul some days back has recovered in Balkh province from kidnappers’ captivity.”
Deputy Police Chief Abdul Hai Abid said firdos was kidnapped two days ago from the Telae Township when he was on his way to school.
He said the kidnapped boy was recovered on Friday and handed over to his family.
