KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting government on Saturday strongly condemned Pakistani attacks on Afghan soil and believed Pakistan aggression was in the interest of neither side and promoted hatred and enmity between the two countries.
Government Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said: “Attacking Waziristan refugees, killing their women and children were tyranny and we condemn this act.”
He said recent US defeat in Afghanistan was a huge lesson for aggressors who challenged Afghanistan’s independence and freedom.
He said Afghans should not be forced to retaliate to such aggression.
Mujahid said Afghan government tried to resolve the issue diplomatically and make sure that such efforts are not repeated in the future.
Earlier, according to reports Pakistani security forces have allegedly carried out airstrike on Waziristan refugees in Sperai district of southeastern Khost province and in the Shaltan district of eastern Kunar province, inflicting casualties on people.
