DAB gets another batch of $32m in cash assistance

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan has received another batch of $32 million in cash humanitarian assistance, says central bank.

Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) tweeted on Sunday: “32 million USD in cash reached Afghanistan on April 17, 2022.”

Following its arrival, the cash was immediately transferred to the Afghanistan International Bank (AIB).

Hailing the cash aid, DAB urged the global fraternity to continue assisting Afghanistan through the banking sector.

Also on Sunday, the central bank said it would auction 13 million dollars on Monday (today) to inject foreign currency into the local market and stabilise the afghani.
