US announces $48m aid for Afghan refugees in Pakistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): The United States has announced $48 million humanitarian assistance for Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

US Embassy in Islamabad tweeted: “Please to note that more than $48 million of the newly announced US humanitarian assistance is for Afghan refugees and host communities in Pakistan.”

The source said: “We are deeply grateful to Pakistan’s generosity hosting Afghan refugees and proud to support (them).”
