KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani has met European Union Special Representative for Afghanistan Tomas Niklasson.
The two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual concern, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Wednesday.
“During the meeting, Khalifa Siraj reaffirmed the Islamic Emirate’s resolve not to allow the use of Afghanistan’s territory against any country,” the ministry tweeted.
“For the opponents, reconciliation doors are always open,” Haqqani was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, Niklasson wrote on his Twitter handle: “In our conversation, I raised my surprise and deep disappointment that secondary schools for girls had not opened . . .
