KABUL (Pajhwok): Caretaker government officials have characterised the role of the midwife in Afghanistan’s health system as important and vital.
Marking International Day of the Midwife, government officials vowed to enhance midwives’ privileges and improve their education.
On May 15, International Day of the Midwife was celebrated in Kabul by the Afghan Nurses and Midwives Council.
