KABUL (Pajhwok): The Pakistani government and the proscribed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have agreed on a short-term ceasefire during talks in Kabul, an official said on Wednesday.
Acting Government Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid on his Twitter handle wrote: “With the mediation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Pakistani government and TTP agreed on a short-term ceasefire during talks in Kabul.”
He said significant progress has been made on related matters and a short-term ceasefire was also agreed.
