JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Reconstruction work on a key bridge has begun in the Haska Mina district of eastern Nangarhar province. The bridge is being rebuilt by an area elder.
Adel Khan Shinwari, a member of Shinwari Society, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bridge was on the verge of destruction and they had started a campaign to collect funds for its reconstruction.
He revealed a local elder named Haji Hamayun Shinwari had accepted responsibility for funding the project.
However, Shinwari would not specify the amount of money needed for the reconstruction of the bridge.
