Child killed, 8 wounded in Faryab accidents

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A child has been killed and eight others have been wounded in two separate traffic accidents in northern Faryab province.

Mohammad Zaman, a traffic official, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “A surf-type vehicle heading to Maimana from Kabul veered off the road in Hadbakhshi area on Monday.”

He said based on preliminary information, a seven-year-old child was killed and seven other people were injured. The victims hailed from Pashtunkot district.

Separately, a young man was seriously wounded after a motorbike collided with a car in Khanchar Bagh district, Zaman added.
