Tajikistan, US discuss humanitarian situation in Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok):  Tajikistan Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin and US Special Representative for Afghanistan Tomas West have discussed issues related to Afghanistan.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on Afghanistan, combating international terrorism and extremism and other issues of mutual interest, Tajikistan’s foreign Ministry said in a statement.

In this regard, they noted the need to cooperate in strengthening borders and providing humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
