KABUL (Pajhwok): AN Indian foreign ministry team has arrived in Kabul to oversee the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Afghans.
Headed by the Ministry of External Affairs joint secretary, the visiting delegates are to meet representatives of global organisations involved in the distribution of humanitarian aid.
A statement from the Indian foreign ministry said the team was likely to visit areas where Indian programmes/projects were being executed.
In response to the needs of the Afghan people, the statement said, India decided to extend humanitarian assistance to the country.
