KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Defence Minister Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai has sought China’s support in extinguishing the fire that erupted in the Nuristan province forest, an official said on Friday.
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said: “DFM Stanikzai called on China to assist to contain and extinguish the fire in Nooristan province. In response, Mr. Yinan said he would promptly share the request with his government to take necessary measures following a preliminary assessment.”
The meeting focused on Afghan-China historic ties, good neighborliness, bilateral cooperation, and the resumption of unfinished projects in Afghanistan . . .
