KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Ameer Khan Muttaqi has said that the incumbent Afghan government's relationship with other nations was improving with each passing day, according to a statement on Friday.
Addressing a gathering of government institutions spokespersons, writers and media activists, Muttaqi spread light over the ongoing political situation, government achievements, current situation and changes that happened after the takeover of the new government.
“Government affairs going in the right direction, with each passing day our diplomatic range is widening, our relationships with the world and regional countries strengthening and an environment of trust was being built,” he said.
He said after four decades, an independent government had been established, all government institutions run by local revenue, and administrative and financial corruption eradicated completely. He added private sector was also developing each day.
Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai said formal and information media activists held the responsibility to portray the situation in a positive manner and share the new development with the people and international community.
