KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Kabir says the caretaker government, treating all Afghans as equal citizens, is deadest against discrimination and prejudice.
He made the remarks in a meeting with religious scholars, tribal elders and influential figures from northern provinces.
The religious scholars and elders, assuring the government of cooperation, acknowledged security throughout the country had improved under the Islamic Emirate.
Maulvi Kabir thanked them for their support, saying the incumbent government vehemently opposed discrimination and prejudice.
He called Afghanistan home to all Afghans, saying the lives of all people had been protected as security had been enforced across the country.
The official said the government was not against women’s rights. He explained the Islamic Emirate supported women’s rights in the framework of Islamic teachings.
