TALOQAN (Pajhwok): Residents of the Taka Taimoz locality of northern Takhar province have urged the reconstruction of a wooden bridge built 20 years ago.
They say the 42 metres bridge was the only connectivity point between Taloqan and several villages in Taka Taimoz area.
Mohammad Sharif, who belongs to the Taka Taimoz area of Taloqan, recalled the issue had been shared with government officials several times. But no action has been taken yet.
Noor Mohammad, who hails from the same locality, said the wooden bridge had been built on the Taloqan River two decades back.
