KABUL (Pajhwok): Former chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation Dr Abdullah Abdullah on Saturday returned to Kabul from India.
Abdullah was staying in Kabul after the previous administration collapsed and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan took power. Days before Eid-ul-Fitr, Abdullah traveled to India.
While in India, he made some remarks about “kangaroo courts”, prompting social media users to predict Abdullah would never return to the country.
But Physical Education Director Nazar Mohammad Motmain tweeted: “Welcome! Dr Abdullah arrives at the Kabul airport.
“Let’s rebuild this country together,” he wrote, saying a number of leaders . . .
