KABUL (Pajhwok): The caretaker cabinet has approved a request from the Ministry of Finance about the procedure of issuing electronic identity cards to nomads and printing of three million passports.
In a statement, the Administrative Affairs Office said the approval came at the 37th meeting of the cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund and attended by his deputies.
The procedure for providing e-ID cards to nomads was approved and National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) tasked with implementing it.
