JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Gunmen looted and killed a doctor in this capital city of eastern Nangarhar province four days ago, spreading fear among local residents. The residents have urged the government to take stern action against armed robbers.
The murder of the doctor comes days after security forces arrested two groups of armed robbers disguised as Taliban members. The groups looted people and had kidnapped three traders.
Four days ago, the doctor was first robbed and then stabbed by an armed group in the Chaparhar Hada area of Jalalabad's 4th District. He succumbed to his injuries in a hospital yesterday . . .
