GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A group of youth on Tuesday opened a three-day book fair on the side of a road in this capital city of southern Ghazni province to encourage reading habits among people.
The youth said most of educated people had abandoned reading books due to the use of social media and technology but they wanted to promote the tendency of book reading.
Hamidullah, one of the organizers of the exhibition, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a large number of booksellers participated in the three-day book fair which showcased thousands of books.
