GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Three butchers have been arrested for selling the meat of dead animals to unsuspecting customers.
Police spokesman Mohammad Albadri told Pajhwok Afghan News that security personnel arrested the butchers in Dawlatzai area in limits of 3<sup>rd</sup> police district of Gardez city for selling the meat of dead animals.
Albadri said the detainees would be dealt with in accordance with the law.
Separately, a number of weapons and ammunition that were kept illegally seized in limits of the second police district of Gardez, the intelligence office said in a statement.
The statement said the weapons included eight Kalashnikovs, one rocket, a hand grenade, thousands of bullets, and some other ammunition.
