Badakhshan deputy governor survives attack

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): The deputy governor of northeastern Badakhshan province has survived an attack in Kash district, an official said on Friday.

Information Department Director Maazuddin Ahmad said Mawlavi Nisar Ahmad was on his way from Kash district to Faizabad City when attacked in the Guzar area.

He said Mawlavi Ahmadi survived the attack and an investigation into the incident had been launched.
