KABUL (Pajhwok): Facebook has shut down Dari and Pashtu accounts of the Radio Television Afghanistan (RTA) as well as Bakhtar news agency.
RTA head Ahmad Wasiq wrote on his Twitter page that the Dari and Pashto Facebook pages of the organization had been blocked by Facebook.
He wrote: "RTA has not yet decided to activate new pages. A number of fake pages have been created in the name of RTA and they are not valid.”
He also said in a conversation with the media that they had contacted the Facebook administration to reactivate the closed pages.
