MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): Seven mobile health teams funded by UNICEF have launched in the remote areas of the central Maidan Wardak province, a public health official said on Saturday.
The medical support of these teams will cover 95% of the population in the province.
Mohammad Zarak Zerak, the director of public health told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The operations of the health teams will cover 95% of the population of the province”.
The health teams launch its free health services to the people of remote areas from which many reports of children and mothers' deaths were received in the past.
A team member Abeda in Sayed Abad district told Pajhwok Afghan News: “I want to save the life of every mother and child in remote areas and provide them health services”.
Obaidullah is another team member, he said that he was offering free treatment in remote areas, he wanted everyone to have access to free health services.
