KABUL (Pajhwok): At the head of a high-level delegation, Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi on Sunday left for Uzbekistan to attend an international conference on Afghanistan.
Zia Ahmad Takal, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) reported the minister’s visit to the Central Asian country in a voice message.
The two-day conference, beginning tomorrow (Monday) will be attended by representatives from several countries and global organisations.
Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Vladimir Narov, had earlier said the participation of the Afghan delegation in the conference did not mean the recognition of the caretaker Taliban government.
