<p style="text-align: justify;">BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): China will establish an electricity production plant prior to Hajigak iron mine extraction in central Bamyan province, the provincial government said on Sunday.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Bamyan governor house in a statement said Governor Mawlavi Abdullah Sarhadi and a delegation of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum held talks with a Chinese delegation in this regard.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The statement added MawlaviSarhadi and the Chinese delegation traveled to Kuhmard district of Bamyam province to inspect Klech coal mine and talked about the electricity production plant.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Chinese delegation said discussions with Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) officials about the electricity production plant and Hajigak iron mine extraction were going well.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The delegation added that work on the electricity production from coal will begin soon.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Bamyan governor said the Islamic Emirate was ready to cooperate with the Chinese side in extraction of the iron mine.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">He promised tight security for Chinese engineers to help speed-up the construction of the power plant and extraction of the Hajigak iron mine.</p>
