KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, supporting the one-China policy, has urged Beijing and Washington to defuse tensions through appropriate means.
On his Twitter handle, Foreign Ministry spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi asked the US, China and other nations to refrain from decisions that were seen as a violation of sovereignty of states.
He wrote: “We urge all countries to refrain from decisions that are considered a violation of national sovereignty of states & lay the groundwork for provocative actions.”
Balkhi added: “The IEA stresses the principled one-China policy & wants to see a resolution to US-China . . .
