MAIMANA (Pajhwok): At least three people have been killed and 19 others wounded as a result of two separate traffic accidents in northern Faryab province.
Qari Mohammad Ismail, administrative chief for Andkhoi district, told Pajhwok Afghan News one traffic accident took place on the Faryab-Jawzjan highway in the morning.
He said the accident, which happened in Musam aream resulted in the death of one individual and injuries to 10 others.
But Dr. Abdul Salam Ghanizada, in charge of TB Control Section at the Public Health Department, giving an eyewitness of the mishap, said three people died.
