KABUL (Pajhwok): Participants of the Pashtoon Qaumi Aman Jirga have opposed secret talks with banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Kabul.
In a resolution passed on Tuesday, the participants vowed not to allow the conversion of any part of Pakistan into a terrorist din.
Arranged by the nationalist Awami National Party, the jirga was attended by different political parties, civil society organisations, traders, academics and others.
The participants unanimously opposed several rounds of clandestine negotiations held with the outlawed terrorist outfit in Kabul.
