KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 21 people were killed and 33 others wounded when a bomb blast ripped through a mosque during evening prayers in Kabul yesterday.
The Wednesday evening’s explosion took place in the Abu Bakkar Siddique mosque in Khairkhana area in the limits of 17th police district.
Police spokesman Khalid Zadran told Pajhwok Afghan News that 21 people had been killed and 33 more wounded.
According to reports, the imam of the mosque and in charge of the seminary Amir Mohammad Kabul also lost his life in the blast.
