KABUL (Pajhwok): Russia has recorded more than 40,000 coronavirus cases in a single day -- a new high since mid-March.
The anti-coronavirus crisis centre announced on Saturday the hospitalisation of 3,450 people with COVID-19 across Russia.
The hospital admissions represent a three percent spike from a day earlier, according to TASS news agency. The number of hospitalised patients rose in 42 regions.
