MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): In the last two weeks, at least 16 houses have been burnt in two villages of Dawlatabad district of northern Balkh province, residents say.
Residents of Qarchigak and Tiligak villages said the fire incidents occurred on their own in nature, gutting their household items.
Ergash, a resident of Tiligak village, told Pajhwok a part of his house caught fire and the flames engulfed other parts of his house last Friday night, when he was out of his house.
