KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Information and Culture announced on Tuesday the media violation monitoring and complaints commission has formally started its work.
In February this year, Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, had said the previous media law was enforceable and the government had decided to establish a commission to deal with media violations and complaints.
He said no institution or ministry of the “Islamic Emirate” would interfere in media affairs after the establishment of the commission.
