KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): The Spin Boldak-Chaman road has been closed due to flooding across the Durand Line in Pakistan, officials in southern Kandahar province say.
Haji Zaid, the spokesman of Kandahar governor, told Pajhwok the Spin Boldak-Chaman road was closed at around 3:00 p.m. today after floods emerged across the Durand Line.
He said the road would remain closed until the floodwater receded. "Huge floodwater on the Pakistani side in Chaman has made travel on the road difficult. The Pakistani side has closed the road and it will remain closed until the water is controlled."
