KABUL (Pajhwok): The US president says his administration has redoubled its relentless global campaign against ISIS and other terrorists threatening Americans.
Joe Biden said this on Friday, a year after 13 US service members and more than 100 Afghan civilians were killed in a terrorist attack outside the Kabul airport.
In a statement from the White House, he referred to the killing of the global head of ISIS in Syria in February and al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri last month in Kabul.
The US was maintaining pressure against terrorist threats without keeping thousands of troops in harm’s way . . .
