CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Over 2,000 less fortunate families have received food aid in the Jabal Seraj district of the central Parwan province, officials said Tuesday.
District governor, Mawlavi Abdul Marouf Haqjo told Pajhwok Afghan News the second round of food aid distribution process began today (Tuesday).
Haqjo stressed that less fortunate families had been transparently identified prior to the aid distribution.
World Food Program (WFP) local representative, Mohammad Nabi Kakar said, every family received a package of 50 kilograms of wheat, 5 liters of cooking oil, 7 kilograms of pulses, 5 kilograms of salt and a quantity of enriched food . . .
