Mother, 4 children mysteriously killed in Ghazni

GHAZNI (Pajhwok): A mother and her four children had been mysteriously killed in the Zankhan district of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Wednesday.

Police Spokesperson Abu Khalid Sarhadi confirmed to Pajhwok Afghan News that a woman along with her four children has been strangled and killed and their bodies were placed in a well in Godali village of Zanakhan district.

Sarhadi added that the motive of the murder was still not clear adding that the murderer threw an uncapped gas cylinder into the well to prevent rescuers from pulling out the bodies from the well.

Mohammad Ishaq Karimi, the victim’s neighbor told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident has happened in Mosa’s house who is in Saudi Arabia.

Karimi said the slain children were aged from 3 to 7 years but another six-month-old baby was left in the cradle and survived.

The residents can’t imagine the motive after the incident but ask the government to bring the perpetrators to justice because the victims had no enmity with anyone.
