KABUL (Pajhwok): The UN International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in partnership with the World Health Organisation (WHO) vaccinated 1.2 million children under-5 against measles last week.
The drive was implemented in 25 provinces which will help curb the recent measles outbreak in the country, the UNICEF wrote on its Twitter handle.
“In 25 provinces across #Afghanistan, @UNICEFAfg vaccinated more than 1.2 million children under-5 last week. In partnership with @WHOAfghanistan this sub-national campaign will help curb the recent measles outbreak in the country.”
