KABUL (Pajhwok): ‘The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ (IEA) interim government has termed US decision to transfer a portion of Afghanistan's frozen assets to a Swiss-based trusteeship without any input from Afghanistan as unacceptable and violation of the international norms, according to a statement on Friday.
In a series of tweets, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said: “IEA - MOFA deems recent decision by the US to transfer a part ($3.5 billion) of the reserves of DAB to Switzerland & use it for targeted disbursement without any input by Afghanistan as unacceptable & a violation of international norms . . .
