JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The residents of Spin Ghar district in eastern Nangarhar province have been faced with the shortage of drinking water after recent flash floods destroyed their wells and other drinking water resources.
They asked government and other aid providing agencies to resolve their problems but local officials said the issue would be addressed at the provincial level.
Hikmatullah, the resident of Maidanak village, told Pajhwok Afghan News that recent floods damaged their wells and canals and they had no access to clean drinking water.
