JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Work on the rehabilitation of a drinking water network and a flood hit area in the Spinghar district of eastern Nangarhar province has been launched.
According to the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA) around 10,000 people will directly and the residents of nearby district will indirectly benefit from these projects that will cost nearly 20 million Afs.
The project was inaugurated on Monday, it would be completed in three months and at least 300 people will be provided with work opportunities.
