FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): The Public Works Department of southwestern Farah province on Thursday announced launching reconstruction work on the Fararod-Farah city road.
Mawlavi Abdul Malik Mutasim, the provincial public works director, told Pajhwok Afghan News that reconstruction work on the road was launched today and would take three months to complete.
He said the Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) would spend around 32 million afghanis on rehabilitation of the 70-kilometer-long road.
According to him, construction of six culverts and 200 meters retaining wall also included in the project.
