BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): A young girl has been rescued from kidnappers in central Bamyan province after two years in captivities, according to a statement on Friday.
The girl — Muzgan — was rescued during an operation led by Governor Abdullah Sarhadi from the Sebak village of Ghandak district and handed over to her family.
Two individuals were arrested in connection to the kidnapping of the girl, the statement from the governor’s house said.
“Muzgan daughter of Amanullah originally hailed from the Paghman district of Kabul and was kidnapped two years ago and taken to different locations.”
