TALOQAN (Pajhwok): A welfare organization has launched conducting eye surgeries of 400 poor people free of cost in northern Takhar province, an official said on Saturday.
Sharifullah Sharifi, head of the Kausar welfare institution, said that the program has been already launched and 400 vulnerable and poor people will get the chance to be operated upon free of charges.
Sharifi added that the program was launched with financial assistance of a Turkish charity.
