NELLI (Pajhwok): Social and Development Organization (Razi) which recently started functioning in central Daikunid province has will provide skill and vocational training to 175 people.
Mohammad Raza Akbari, the provincial head of Razi NGO, said: “Razi has launched functioning in 2008 in western Afghanistan and implemented several schemes in the area of vocational training, capacity building, economy, women rights and offered support to vulnerable persons.”
He said Razi will now implement vocational training courses of tailoring, equipment repairing and motorcycle repairing to 175 less fortunate and vulnerable persons in Daikundi.
He said the trainees are 100 women and 75 men will get six month training and after the completion of training they will be provided with necessary equipment to start their own work.
Raihan Rezae, one of the trainees, said he was thrilled to get learning opportunity and planned to invest in handicraft field in the future.
Information Director Syed Mustafa Saleh welcomed the launche of skilled and vocational training project and said the trainees should get maximum advantage from the available opportunity.
