KABUL (Pajhwok): Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and some political and cadres personalities of the country held a professional discussion over the past one year diplomatic journey, ups and downs and opportunities, an official said on Tuesday.
MoFA Spokesperson Zia Ahmad Takal on his twitter handle wrote: “Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, Finance and Admin Secretary Mawlavi Rahmatul Haq Fazeel, Deputy Economy Minister Dr. Abdul Latif Nazari and political and cadre personalities of the country participated.”
During the meeting, acting Foreign Minister Muttaqi stressed over the continuation of similar meetings and said the views of cadre personalities would be given importance and would fully utilized.
A participant of the meeting told Pajhwok Afghan News that it was agreed in the meeting that inside story of the meeting would not be exposed to the media.
Photographs of the meeting showed that former President Hamid Karzai’s Chief of Staff Ab. Karim Khurram, former IECC Head Abdul Sattar Sadaat, former Governor Lutfullah Mashal, the Badlon Foundation Head Farooq Azam and the Mellat Party Head Jafar Mahdavi participated in the meeting.
