US delegation visits Turkey to meet Afghans

KABUL (Pajhwok): New charge d'affaires of the US Embassy in Afghanistan says that she has traveled to Turkiye to meet Afghans.

Karen Decker twitted: “In Türkiye for a listening tour – my team and I look forward to conversations with a diverse group of Afghans: women, men, journalists, activists, Pashtuns, Harzara, Tajiks, and Uzbeks.”

Decker wrote that she wanted to learn how Afghans abroad were connected to Afghans in Afghanistan.

She added: “Building on a dialogue begun last week in the UAE and one of my trips planned to meet Afghan people where they are.”
