KABUL (Pajhwok): Seventy-five tonnes of pine nuts worth $1,650,000 have been exported to China through land route, an official said on Tuesday.
Ehsanullah Fitrat, director Export Development of the Ministry of Commerce, said for the first time 75 tonnes of pine nuts are being exported to China through land route.
He said the pine nuts would be dispatched to Tashkant, the capital of Uzbekistan, and then it would be sent to Shanghai.
Acting Commerce Minister Nooruddin Aziz said there was 50 million afs increase in Afghanistan’s export in the first six months of the ongoing solar year.
He said the ministry strived to create more opportunities for Afghanistan’s export to improve the overall economic situation.
